Frequently Asked Questions

General Service Overview

What is included in the shortlist?

The shortlist contains the very best candidates we found. From each candidate, we include their contact information, curriculum vitae, a non-binding letter of intent, evaluation reports, and statistical insights comparing their performance and qualifications against an average benchmark.

How long until the shortlist is delivered?

The delivery time depends on the specific requirements of the position, and we will provide an estimated timeframe when you place your order. However, as a reference, you may assume 3 to 5 weeks for most job positions.

    Pricing and Fees

How much does the service cost?

A shortlist of three top candidates is priced at $10,000 USD, and you can add extra candidates at a cost of $5,000 USD each.

Are there any commissions or ongoing fees after hiring?

No. Workers’ Business charges a fixed fee for the shortlist, and you can hire any or all of the candidates from that shortlist without any further costs or commissions. We do not charge any different fee for the position being more specialized or better paid. We do not charge any commission on the salary of the worker.

What if I’m not satisfied with the shortlist?

Workers’ Business offers a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the delivered shortlist, you can request a refund of up to 80% of the fee paid.

    Can I cancel my order?

Yes. Orders are not binding until you sign the contract and pay the fees. After that, you may still cancel your order any time before the delivery of the shortlist and receive an 85% refund.

If I am satisfied with the shortlist and want more candidates after initial delivery, can I upgrade to a larger list at a later stage?

Yes, you just need to pay the extra candidates’ fees.

      Process and Guarantees

What steps are taken to ensure that candidates are a good fit?

Depending on the needs of the position Workers’ Business may conduct thorough resume screenings, skills tests, psychometric evaluations, or interviews (including technical assessments if needed) to ensure candidates are well-qualified and well-suited to your requirements.

Do candidates on the shortlist really want the job?

Yes. Every candidate on the shortlist provides a non-binding letter of intent, demonstrating their genuine interest in joining your company.

      Is there any exclusivity requirement?

No. There is no exclusivity clause. You may conduct your own search or work with other agencies simultaneously.

        Information Sale vs. Recruitment Agencies

Is Workers’ Business a recruitment agency?

No. Workers’ Business is an information provider, not a traditional recruitment agency. We sell detailed information in the form of a shortlist of candidates, which means we do not handle employment contracts or negotiate on your behalf. Unlike typical agencies, we focus solely on identifying and presenting qualified candidates, leaving the hiring process entirely to you. However, using our shortlist, complete with detailed insights, makes the hiring process much more efficient.

What are the services that you do not provide, that recruitment agencies would?

Workers’ Business does not provide many of the services typically offered by traditional recruitment agencies. We do not negotiate employment contracts or choose the final candidate to be hired. We do not serve as an employer of record, nor do we handle any background checks, criminal record checks, or credit score assessments. Additionally, we do not verify documents, degrees, credentials, diplomas, or any similar qualifications. We do not manage any paperwork, including relocation paperwork, visas, or work permits for international hires. We also do not conduct candidate follow-ups or performance evaluations after hiring, nor do we provide onboarding support or post-hire services.

What do you actually provide then?

We provide you with a shortlist of top candidates, along with detailed information, that will help you decide which one to hire.

What happens if a candidate from the shortlist declines a job offer after initially providing a letter of intent?

The letter of intent is non-binding, but it is unlikely for a candidate to decline after being included in the shortlist. Candidates know they are among the final few with a high chance of being hired and are planning accordingly. If a candidate does reject, it is most likely due to unforeseen circumstances, and you may still hire one of the remaining candidates.

Why would I buy your shortlist instead of hiring a recruitment agency then?

The reasons are many, but we can list 4 now:

-Our candidates and the information we provide are of significantly higher quality than what is typically offered by traditional recruitment agencies.

-You retain complete freedom—there are no exclusivity clauses or restrictions on who you can hire, why, or when.

-Our service is significantly more cost-effective, with a flat fee structure that remains consistent regardless of the role or the candidate or his wage.

-We have a very convenient cancellation policy and a satisfaction guarantee, that will actually refund your money if things do not happen as expected.

If you value cost effectiveness, time efficiency, simplicity, quality over quantity, and peace of mind, we are your best option.

          Scope and Locations

Do you specialize in a particular industry or role type?

No. Workers’ Business can operate across any industry, from technology and engineering to law and finance, and beyond. If your job position requires expertise beyond our in-house capabilities, we engage external consultants who are experts in that field to assist in evaluations or interviews, ensuring the highest level of assessment quality.

Can you find candidates from any location?

Yes. Workers’ Business operates globally. We can find world-class experts from anywhere, whether you want them to relocate, work remotely, or hire locally.
